Robyn Hoffman will talk to us about the wonderful food rescue organisation, Leket. A donation will be made to Leket.
10:20 – meet at the main entrance to Yad Lashirion (Free parking close to the entrance) 10:40 – guided tour of the Chaim Herzog Museum of the Jewish Soldier in WWII 12:30 Lunch Break. Bring a packed lunch. There is a coffee bar in the museum 14:00 – guided tour of the Armoured Combat Vehicle Museum 15:30 – end of tour. |

There will be a bus from Netanya and Tel Aviv – NIS 50, non-members NIS 60. Payment for tour by Paybox or Bit to Ed Pearlman.

The AGM will be followed by Soup and Baked Potatoes and a few short comedy script readings!
If you would like to participate in the readings, please let us know when you book.
Attendance is free but only members can vote.

The Albert Einstein Archives are an extraordinary cultural asset of universal importance for humanity, and of national importance for Israel and the Jewish people.
They contain the largest collection of original manuscripts by Einstein in the world and includes his vast correspondence with the most influential physicists and intellectuals of the 20th century.
The Archives are located on the Givat Ram Campus. We will meet in the lobby of the Levi building (bldg. 8) at 10:00.
Parking in the car park for building 11. Entry to the Givat Ram Campus only if drivers give us their name, ID and car registration the week before.
After the Archives, we will drive to the Israel Museum, where we will take a lunch break. You can buy lunch from the Israel Museum cafeteria or bring your own packed lunch and eat it there.
The Israel Antiquities Authority oversees the country’s antiquities and antiquity sites, their excavation, preservation, conservation, study and publication thereof, as well as the country’s antiquity treasures.
We will see several new exciting finds that have not yet been on public view, including a beautiful mosaic floor. We will also visit their conservation labs.
The Antiquities Authority is next door to
the Israel Museum.
The tour will start at 14:00, and finish at about 15:15.
Doors open 1 p.m.
A light lunch will be available.
The AGM will be followed by a talk by Aryeh Myers, a senior paramedic at MDA who will tell us about his job and what it’s been like since 7th October.
This event is free but donations to MDA will be welcome on the day.
Harvey Baxter will give a talk on the Dangers of the Internet – How to recognise and avoid them. Harvey has been workinh with computers since 1966 and currently works with Age U.K., teaching seniors to cope with the digital world.
Attendance is free but please inform Ellie Morris if you are coming.
