Eden Goldberger, a native of Hartford, Connecticut, whose husband is currently Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Israel.
Naomi Tsur, Deputy Mayor of the Jerusalem Municipality, has accepted an invitation to be our Guest. As the person responsible for planning and heritage conservation in the City, she will be telling us about her plans for the future.
A talk by Aviva Zuller, who is in charge of donor relations and English-speakers outreach at Adam Teva v’Din (Israel Union for Environmental Defense). The subject of her talk is Tachlis – the Story of Environmental Protection in Israel. She will explain how her organisation is dedicated to championing every Israeli’s right to live in a safe, clean and healthy environment.
Please note: this meeting will take place on the 8th floor of Yad Sarah (and not as usual in the Visitor’s Centre).
Dr. Gaby Barkai, a well-known Israeli archaeologist, will speak on “A Torah Story from the Ghetto to Jerusalem”. This has all the ingredients of a fascinating adventure story!
Ellie and Steve Morris will give an illustrated talk on their recent trip to Ethiopia.

Our summer season will begin with a concert to be given by Alan and Maureen Tschaikov, who made aliyah from the U.K. in 1957.
Alan will play the clarinet and will be accompanied on the piano by Maureen. They have prepared a delightful programme of light classics – just the sort to enjoy on a summer afternoon,
