Guided tour of the gardens in English.

A coach tour to Seakura Farm, an ecological company near Beit Yannai, to see how seaweed is commercially farmed and taste what they produce. The company employs advanced technology , while safeguarding nature, people and health. Learn about iodine.
This will be followed by a guided tour of the Khan Museum in Hadera, which presents the history of the town.
Both tours will be in English.
There will be time for a snack lunch or picnic.
Cost includes entrance fees.

A presentation about the Mediterranean and the world of seaweed at Sakura Farm and an introduction to the technology of growing seaweed on land. You can observe the unique growing method while learning about healthy nutrition, and including the tasting of seaweed culinary products. You will also learn about the importance of iodine, the forgotten mineral, in our diet.
In Caesarea National Park we will be given reserved exclusive access to the new Visitors’ Centre presentation. A private guide will take us on a tour of some of the sites. “Festival of Ancient Times” is a humoristic theatrical festival for the public during Succoth, presenting displays and stories from ancient times. There are also a shuk for gifts and food stalls.
Several succoth are available for use in Caesarea.
Coaches will leave from Tel Aviv and Haifa (via Zichron). Early booking essential as space is limited.
Guided trip to Ramat Hanadiv, Zichron Ya’acov
The coach will leave Tel Aviv at approximately 10.30am from Arlozorov but that will be confirmed once we have bookings as there will probably be other pick up points along the way.
Before we go into the gardens we will have lunch. People can bring their own picnic lunch or eat in the restaurant.
The price will be 120 shekels per person for members or 140 shekels for non-members to be paid in cash ahead of the trip.

A visit to the beautiful, refurbished Weizmann House, the home of Chaim and Vera Weizmann. This will be followed by lunch at Cafe Mada, Weizmann Institute, a kosher dairy restaurant. You can also bring your own lunch to have in the delightful Institute gardens. After lunch there will be a visit to the Ayalon Institute – bullet factory. This was a secret ammunition factory, disguised as part of a kibbutz, to fool the British in the 1940s.
The bus will leave Kikar Ha’atsmaut at 8.30 a.m., will pick ups in Ir Yamim and possibly Tel Aviv.
