Netanya branch talk by Robert Fisherman @ Moadon

Robert Fisherman was born in Denmark some ninety years ago. He is one of the survivors of the 464 Danish Jews who were captured and sent to the Theresienstadt concentration camp in German occupied Czechoslovakia and will recount his story.
Robert made Aliyah to Israel some years ago.
Refreshments will be served.

National Trip – Kibbutz Beit Haemek – Chol Hamoed Succot

Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the kibbutz by Jewish communities of the U.K. A plaque will be unveiled by the British Ambassador, H.E. David Quarrey. There will also be a short tour of the kibbutz and a presentation by Biological Industries, the main producer on the kibbutz. This will be followed by some fun English games.

There will be light kosher refreshments. A succah will be available.

A bus will leave Tel Aviv in the late morning, picking up  en route in Netanya and Zichron Ya’akov.

This is a members only event.

Ilana Shemesh is a retired midwife, who ran her own birthing centre on her moshav. She volunteered as a midwife in Uganda and she will speak about the fascinating experience and the needs of the centre.

Nitsan Darshana-Leitner is an Israeli attorney, human rights activist and the founder of Shurat HaDin, Israeli Law Centre. She has been leading the Israeli fight against terror financing, the anti-Israel boycott campaign (BDS) and combating the multitude of law fare tactics utilised against the Jewish State by its enemies. Ms. Darshan-Leitner has successfully recovered more than two hundred million dollars in compensation .
