This will be of interest to anyone who has made aliya in the last decade.
Inaugural Social Event (with refreshments) for this new South Sharon Branch. Come and make new friends, get to know people in your area.
The AGM will be followed by tea and a talk by Hazel Broch on “The Lighter Side of Pesach”.
Pamela Kaplan z”l was dedicated to helping olim. She worked both in the UK and then 40+ years in Israel assisting singles and families from around the English speaking communities. Later in life she aided Ethiopians to settle and find new lives. Over her 50+ working years she was the instigator of many initiatives through her work with The British Embassy, The Zionist Federation,The British Settlers Association, The British Olim Society, The Jewish Agency, Telfed and many other major international organisations.
We will be remembering her life at a concert and memorial evening on 10th March 2016 in Tel Aviv.
If you knew Pamela you will appreciate why we are marking her memory in this way. Please do come and join us.
